Opening Reception at The Gallery

Saturday, June 20
Art Gala Dinner Theatre at the Unitarian Church. A ticketed event from 7–11 pm. Opera, violins, trivia, flowers, great summer food, tours... short speeches about events, and a thank you to patrons and sponsors. 65 people max.

Saturday, June 27
Fairhaven Homecoming Day Fair and Studio Tour Kick Off

Saturday, July 4
Fourth of July Parade. Like last year, the Gallery will enter a float into the parade and hand out free art kits and stickers along the parade route from Trip School to Fort Phoenix.

Sunday, July 5
Plein Air on Open Land co-hosted with The Buzzards Bay Coalition. A kick off to the two-week-long Plein Air on Open Lands Festival at Carvalho Farm, 8 am - 1 pm. Food truck and bathrooms will be available! A review of the rules and available awards will be announced.

Friday, July 10
Very much like last year, A Night at the Millicent Library will be an elegant experience in one of Fairhaven’s grandest buildings. The theme is The Gilded Age with flowers, music, refreshments, and dress code to match. Marion Antiques, and other experts to be announced, will review collections submitted by townspeople. Many of these collections will be up for sale in the art auction the following Saturday at the Town Hall.

Saturday, July 18
Very much like last year, A Night at the Town Hall will be a variety night that includes The Adventures of John Manjiro, composed by Yoko Nakatani. A presentation of the art from Plein Air on Open Lands, along with awards to artists. An auction led by Marion Antiques of 20 items . . . many items will be fundraisers for local groups, including (hopefully) the Fairhaven Historical Society, Manjiro Society, the Fairhaven Cultural Council, and the Millicent Library.

Saturday, July 25
Studio Tour Showcase. The Gallery will visit all locations on the tour and highlight several works and sites that can’t be missed. This is the last weekend of the Studio Tour.
